The History
I was born on July 22, 1985 in Hampton, SC. Being born feet-first, I was stubborn from the very beginning. I have 5 siblings. I’ve always had the blessing of growing up with both of my parents. Having many brothers, I was somewhat of a tomboy…mostly a country girl (you know, the running through the woods barefoot type). I didn’t have many friends, because I was really quiet and shy.
My first best friend was Mallory Moore until she moved to Michigan when we were in 1st or 2nd grade. Then I met Hakima, who I didn’t like at first. We eventually became the best of friends. She went into foster care, and I met Danielle in the 7th grade. She told me that the guy I was dating (my first boyfriend, Percel) was a player, and that he was trying to get with her, and we’ve been friends since. We started lots of rumors, and got into lots of trouble together. Then somehow, in the 10th grade, I started hanging out with Jessica and Cynthia. I don’t talk to any of them anymore.
So, after Percel, I had about 8 or 9 other boyfriends. I was in love with one, Vincent Cash. He was my sweetheart for years, even though I didn’t lose my virginity to him (yes I cheated). I went off to Winthrop University, but I left after one semester to be with Vince. The next year around the same time, he left me for a girl he met over a sex hotline. He cost me my education, my job, my life. That’s when I started with web design. I used it as an outlet for my stress and pain. Joined lots of sites, spent more time on Yahoo, got back in school at Beaufort Tech. Then I met Q. We spent a wonderful year together. Was even thinking about getting married, but I decided that the drama of him having a child was too much for me to handle. I started becoming stressed out…having headaches all of the time. Stress kills, and if something kills you then it’s not good for you. So I closed that chapter of my book, and started a new one on maturity and finding peace…with Jermaine.
The Personality
I’ve always been a quiet person..at least until I got my first job at McDonald’s. That job changed my life and my entire personality. I started messing with the drug dealers, crackheads…crazy people. I thank God for allowing me to meet them, because if I hadn’t, I would probably be one of the biggest pushovers in existence. On the other hand, I’m not happy with the person that I have become over the years. If I could go back to the way that I was, I would..as long as I could keep some of the things that I’ve learned.
I think that being a Cancer-Leo mix has a lot of impact on my personality. Lots of people tell me that I have split personalities, which I’m starting to believe is true. Depending on my mood, some days I’m happy, calm, quiet, all into my man. Then the next day, I’m being a loud, obnoxious bitch, who craves attention so much she would rather get it from somewhere besides home. The guys I get with tend to think that it’s their fault because they aren’t giving me what I need, but I must reassure them that it’s more of a personal issue.
Either way, I’ve always been a loving person. I like to give everyone one chance to prove themselves, and even when I have a bad-ass attitude, say the wrong thing and I’ll break down and cry. I spend a lot of time being depressed because of things that I do. I wish that I could stop, or have some control, but that’s not me. I don’t have control over anything in my life…well, maybe some things. I’m working on improving that fault, though.
The Relationship
It’s no secret, I am taken. He’s a wonderful guy named Jermaine, and we’ve been together since June 21, 2006, and got married on November 8, 2008. I love him very much, and he makes me very happy, and I enjoy every minute of our relationship. We’ve had one pregnancy scare so far, and our share of arguments, but we’re working to prevent all of that in the future. We met at Food Lion, and worked together at HT, where he’s the asst. produce manager.
The Transportation
After my 1996 Ford Explorer was declared totaled, I was on a quest to find a new car that suited my needs and my tastes. My first choice was a Scion TC, but after a lot of consideration I decided to go with the 2005 Ford Focus. It came from Auto2Auto.com (a online car lot located in Tennessee), and it’s certified and still under warranty. So far, I’ve only had problems with a tiny transmission leak, and I blew a tire on Interstate after I ran over piece of someone else’s tire. Features: A/C, cruise control, volume control mounted onto steering wheel, 6-CD in-dash changer w/ MP3 support, leather steering wheel, power windows and locks, and alarm system w/ keyless entry.

The History
I’ve always been into web design…you know, back in the era where Geocities and Angelfire ruled the world of personal sites. Then I got into sites liked BlackPlanet and Paxed, and continued redesigning my pages there while I was in high school. Then, in my first year of college, I bought Eluzions.net, and had it hosted at Fateback (a free web hosting site). I also had a few subsites at lyna.yoll.net and eluzions.fateback.com. These two sites are the ones that got me hosted by Anna from Not-Sorry.com. I stayed there until she offered me my own domain, which is how Girlkill.com came alive. Then I was at the peak of my design period. I learned how to skin, install Greymatter and Wordpress, and how to operate the Control Panel. I had a couple of hostees, and a forum (Cherry Bomb MB) with my friend Tiffany. Then Anna mysteriously disappeared (even though I still had GK.) I decided to give it up, and branch off on my own. I found this girl on a MB who was selling hosting plans, and I bought luvva-girl.net. While I was hosted there, the site kept going down, and then one day it never came back up. I emailed the girl and asked her to send me my DNS info so I can move my domain over to Anna’s hosting plan. Then Anna disappeared and I never heard from her again or got control over LG. Eager to try again, I bought luv-my-hunny.org from Net Firms and got it hosted by Reseller Zoom. I didn’t keep up with the site because I fell out of love with the name. That’s when I bought N3rdie.net from Go Daddy. It was renewed in October by me. I felt like it described me to the fullest, but I had to let it go because of my ex-boyfriend - in an attempt to cut off all ties. So then, I went with Imponderable.net. After 3 months of being at Imponderable, I moved to Surpass Hosting to start my business (Imponderable Designs). I moved back to N3rdie, so that I can dedicate Imponderable to my business. Then I decided that I wanted something different. RockYaSox was born. After quickly becoming bored with RYS, Blake and I thought of different names and decided to go with Love: Sugarcoated. After that came bellechic.org, which is my Tumblr site. I then moved on to ohmrsb.com and now ohembe.com.
The Reason
Because I want to. Just Kidding. I do this because it keeps me from being bored to death. It also helps me get my problems off my chest, and out in the open.
